Bio
Officer Fourier Fu was born in San Francisco, California, USA, and is an American of Chinese descent, currently residing in the Lompat District of Los Angeles. He received a combined Chinese and Western education from a young age, graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from California State University, and holds a certification in Special Operations Tactics from the U.S. Army. Officer Fu is married and has one son.
Officer Fu served in the U.S. Army Special Operations Command, where he executed multiple counterterrorism and special operations missions overseas, accumulating extensive experience in combat operations, tactical deployment, and team collaboration. He retired with the rank of honorable sergeant in 2015.
On March 1, 2016, Fourier Fu officially joined the Los Angeles Police Department. After completing advanced law enforcement training at the police academy with outstanding results, he was assigned to the Patrol Division of the Second Precinct, where he was responsible for routine patrol and incident handling in the RAMPART area. Leveraging his military special forces experience and exceptional tactical skills, he played a prominent role in solving a series of gang theft cases in RAMPART in 2018 and received commendation from the precinct.
In 2020, Officer Fu passed the advanced police officer promotion assessment (3+1) and became a member of the senior law enforcement sequence in the Los Angeles Police Department. In July 2022, due to his tactical command capabilities and experience in regional public security management, he was appointed as the captain of the Lampart Division Task Force in the Second Precinct. His primary responsibilities included leading major case investigations, coordinating tactical operations for emergency actions, and overseeing the daily training and mission assignments of the task force officers. During his tenure, the violent crime rate in the Lampart District decreased by 18% year-on-year, demonstrating significant achievements in public security governance.
